#BrainSize
The beginning of my actual reply…Peter, That is fantastic!! First impression from this single view is that you might have something more like the smallest Dmanisi skull or 1813, rather than strictly australopithecine, despite the small brainsize…

brainsize != intelligence

Can relate.

var gola = new kobold(‘small’, ‘small’, ‘scaly’);
for (i = 0; i < 20000; i++) {
gola.yip();
}

function kobold(size, brainSize, type) { … }

I'll be polite Americans can be a bit limited in ...brainsize...

I have several of those stories too.

Really? Define "smart".
Are we smarter then an ant? I got doubts.

Imagine a blue whale had arms and could speak.
Just because of the brainsize I'm sure they would change the world!
We just don't understand them.

I really don't know (perhaps except chimpanzees) any animal being "cruel".

So does Musk think that the brainsize we are born with doesn't change through life? Not sure I understand the point he is trying to make otherwise.
Hopefully you now understand my earlier post here about how it’s become impossible to track every evil thing Elon Musk does and says daily

He’s already done a dozen things today that I could write a report on, because in any other era they’d be career- and reputation-ending offenses against dignity

Sorry Musk, but brain size is not the measure you want it to be.

News flash Elon. Earlier humans had a larger Brainsize than today. It was not the size of the brain. Keep up with the research genius

Neanderthals actually had bigger brains than we do today—so what happened to all that extra brainpower? 🤔 #RandomFact #Neanderthals #HumanEvolution #BrainSize #Anthropology

I was petting my chaos-muppet of a cat last night and suddenly realized... these ears of hers... that make her head look so big... they are empty. EMPTY. I have had to revise my estimate of her brainsize downward. As if her chaos muppetry hadn't already told me that she was a cat of smol brain.

one of these „that doesn‘t surprise me“-papers? We still showed it first. Lab effects are huge and we at least need to be aware of them. Led by a brilliant young Latin American student! Also cute #shrews #DehnelsPhenomenon #gowild #sorex #brainsize
We find a captivity effect on shrew  🧠  gene expression, highlighting the importance of research on wild individuals when studying physiological processes of interest 👉🏽 www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

It sure is a shame, but I don't think it will ever change. Some men think their penises are the most magnificent in the world. Their brainsize probably isn't... 😉

it was about time to look at the genomics underlying seasonal #brainsize change in #shrews. #collaborations are what make science worth sciencing and look what @labdavalos.bsky.social found: talk across the #bbb with the liver and metabolic changes that bear huge promise for applied research
Some shrews shrink their 🧠 in winter❄️. Even more extraordinary, they regrow them in spring 🌸💪. How we asked🤷? Evidence indicates key changes in glucose and lipid metabolism 🍭🥓 www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
