I think that was one of the most dramatic #northernlights I have seen in Iceland - not due to the aurora: The wastewater pipes had frozen in the cold.

This one was a fluke. Shot Dec 4, 2025. That's the #SuperMoon behind very odd cloud cover. I didn't realize I was capturing a rare celestial event until later, I just found it quite pleasingly eerie.

Near the centre of the frame is a very bright moon, quite small quite far away. In front of it, the clouds are coming down in a strange diagonal fashion from upper left to lower right and are illuminated by the moon.
