Well this was a delight. Creative & inventive & funny, and it also subtly has a lot of recipes for regular stuff you’d want to make in a non-burger context (hummus, tapenade, coleslaw, etc). Only real drawback is that most of the recipes only make 4 burgers, so they wouldn’t feed all the Belchers.

But there are very clearly no modern tech devices like iPads or smart watches u. Yeah the Belchers are poor, but even poor people have cell phones/smart phones. No one in the show has anything like that, nor are they really ever mentioned.

Just like most sitcoms it's a floating timeline, but they're intentionally being vague about it so it slides into any year between its start and nowadays outside of some references, but definitely not the 90s lol. And the Belchers don't have new-ish tech cause they're poor
