My off the cuff theory is someone who does Videos probably feels more obligation to read what's popular or trendy. Like I've watched some booktube, especially in Spanish as practice, and there's not really a point in watching more than one channel because they're all covering the same stuff

One of the BookTube channels I follow mentioned a site called Standard Ebooks, and now I’m obsessed. They’re in the same sphere as Project Gutenberg in free distribution of public domain ebooks, but with better covers and formatting. Not a bad way to build a classics library. #books
