I visited the AAHC museum last year and it was amazing! I learned the basic facts in highschool history, but the exhibits taught me so much more about *how* and *why* horrific systems like the transatlantic slave trade and Jim Crow came to be - an education that feels very relevant to today

Typical pts are young/healthy who received penicillin-derivative abx & present w/acute onset of bloody diarrhea, colonoscopy +R side or transverse colon, sparing descending/sigmoid colon. Resolves spontaneously w/cessation of abx. NSAIDs may make it worse #AAHC abx assoc. hemorrhagic colitis
