Completely enamoured with this collection of C17th Welsh & English county maps, particularly the inclusion of county town plans in the corner of each. Intrigued by a Welsh county/town I'm not familiar with: Radnorshire/Radnor - now New Randor - which remains remarkably intact today. #MapMonday

It's been nearly a century now since the Anglo-American slavery repatriation project kicked off, and many in Europe now privately think it may have been a little TOO successful.....

The DRAKA books are interesting to me; in that I fundamentally agree with every single criticism leveled against them, but I do also find that the idea of an ultra high-intensity atomicpunk cold war waged across the Solar System for democracy has really captured my imagination. Happy #MapMonday!

Thanks to Griffiths Valuation and the accompanying maps on www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-val... I've been able to find the precise location of the house that the soldier I'm currently researching lived and died in. He served in the British Army between 1805 and 1814.
