The Haitian delegation is now in good company in terms of the suppression of images on their uniforms.
The International Olympic Committee has told a Ukrainian skeleton athlete he cannot wear a helmet that commemorates the lives of Ukrainian athletes lost since Russia’s invasion in competition at the Winter Games, saying it breaks Olympic rules on neutrality.

I haven't watch much Olympics yet, but in nearly event I've seen, there's been at least one competitor who missed events 4 years ago because they tested positive for COVID. Imagine working so hard to qualify for the Olympics, and that happens. It would be foolish for them *not* to mask.
