When you take a step back, it’s genuinely stunning how far any of this is from anything Trump campaigned on. It aligns perfectly w Project 2025 of course, but in terms of Trump’s public rhetoric, this was totally absent.
Will be interesting to see how a state that shreds its own capacity to collect taxes can sustain global power status

Indeed. Did a quick thread on some of the child molesting, child abusing, child sex trafficking monsters within the GOP.
Sex offenders were sex offenders before inclusive trans policies. There’s also scant evidence inclusive polices are gamed by sex offenders in any significant number. It’s a problem unto itself. Nor would I trust a GOP that is overrun with sex pests and child molesters to root out the problem either.
