Liberal, not radicalized, but a little punky!
So it begins… sigh!
Of course. Chris Gober (a Republican who previously served as chief counsel for tech billionaire Elon Musk’s America PAC) announced his bid for Congress in Texas today.

The idea of civil rights is that all people are equal members of society, and therefore mechanisms that make people unequal are illegitimate. The far right has built a perverse mirror ideology, in which races are known to be unequal, and therefore mechanisms that make us equal are illegitimate.
Their baseline idea is that inequality between peoples is the natural order of things, and so any effort to reduce inequality is immoral and illegal. They're segregationists, and their ideal world is the antebellum South but they'll settle for the "Redeemer" era as Reconstruction fell to Jim Crow.

Masked soldiers kidnapping people off the streets.

Concentration camps holding people in inhumane conditions.

This is Trump’s America.

But the people have a different vision, one built on love for our neighbors, and we will fight for it, together.

Trump is touting the no tax on tips provision in his budget bill.

But many tipped workers won't benefit because their earnings are so low. And the provision expires in 2028.

The estate tax cuts that primarily benefit the rich? Those were made permanent.

Funny how that works.

The vampire has been about many things in many cultures, anxieties about infection/blood, sex, death, and the power of women’s bodies (the yakshi in Kerala, for eg), but in modern societies there is truly no more vampiric an entity than the billionaire seeking power, longevity and even more wealth
You can understand how people in different cultures independently came up with the idea of vampires, of things that look like humans but exist only to consume humans in order to extend their unnatural lives.

Wow. Wow.
In a horrifying article about the dangers of Teslas, one point stands out: Teslas automatically disengage self-driving mode <1 second before an imminent crash--not enough time for the driver to react, but enough for Tesla to deny responsibility for fatal crashes, since self-driving "wasn't engaged."
