How about @@ for the pronoun of AI? Instead of I, you, which are problematic.
Examples: "@@ is learning new skills." or "Send the request to @@." It can also be used in place of quote marks for AI excerpts; @@ 🤔 The capital of France — Paris@@

My response to Ring's decision to roll back reforms and go back to surveillance on behalf of police as a business model.
This is part of a trend of companies bending over backwards to get in on the techno-authoritarian money/power grab that comes with being a lapdog of the carceral state.

We made a big mistake when we decided that governments should and could communicate with the public during disasters largely via corporate-owned algorithmic social media websites.
We have to return to requiring governments to use truly *public* platforms designed for this use case that all can see.

It’s malpractice at this point that so many government agencies are stuck using social media platforms that are largely only regularly used by people over 40.
They have to start posting video content on TikTok to reach the non-geriatric. Sorry, that’s the way it is

The “Universal Public Square” model that sustained Facebook and Twitter for the decade from 2010-2020 is nearly a half decade in the grave.
The prevalence of Cranky Boomer Uncles in so many agencies keeps them from realizing this.

The only reason I still have to spend time on Twitter is because powerful people, like Canada’s MPs, continue to spend most of their time there as opposed to other social platforms.
So let’s pressure them to move elsewhere!
