The money we could save as a society if we didn't have the collective economic object permanence of a one year old...
Short but thought provoking article
“One mile on a bike is a $.42 economic gain to society, one mile driving is a $.20 loss.”

“Which means that Copenhagen, a city of 1.2 million people, saves $357 million a year on health costs because something like 80% of its population commutes by bike.” #CityMakingMath

i feel so much rage whenever people try to justify LLM use in art by saying well what about disabled people?

disabled people make art every day. they often do utilize tools to help them create. but they don't need a machine to make art for them, and that's all an LLM can do for a writer.

Make America Healthy Again.

Again.

Meaning: America used to be ‘healthy’ and now is not.

This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.”

Minor quibble. I wish journalists would stop calling the Alien Enemies Act an "obscure" act, and start referring to it as the act that led to the most shameful widespread imprisonment of American citizens in the 20th century.

What the actual fuck.

There are many things that have made America great.

By no measure is this one of them.
Our client worked in the arts in Venezuela. He is LGBTQ. His tattoos are benign. But ICE submitted photos of his tattoos as evidence he isTren de Aragua. His @ImmDef attorney planned to present evidence he is not. But never got the chance because our client has been disappeared.

Scott came to me about 7 months ago: "what if we got as many big name creators & newcomers to write one page stories, and then I illustrated them??" I thought he was out of his mind. Then the book grew from 2, to 50, to 80+ stories.

So, I still think so, but man, is the end result mind-blowing.
