FUCK TED CRUZ is always the answer. NEVER TRUMPER since the '80's.
Speak the truth. Shine a light.
I hope the Dems never become a party that "falls in line" behind any leader. This regime proves that blind obedience is death.

I dk if caving was right or wrong. I've seen views on both sides. I think a big part of the anger is the accumulation of years of frustration from seeing Dems back down without a fight. Having the high ground is worthless if you don't fight to keep it.

Donald Trump spent 10 years lying to low income MAGA voters, gets into office on their backs, and sells America to the rich. It's Orwellian.

The fight tonight was over about $25 billion. Thats about 2.5% of the Defense budget. Would cover a year of the enhanced ACA credits. Republicans said that’s unaffordable.

Rick Scott told me his plan would be to take all of the remaining ACA subsidies and redistribute them to HSA accounts and people can then buy whatever insurance a state certifies. Basically a repeal/replace.
He denied when I asked wouldn’t that create two-tiered system where sick pay much more…

@sanders.senate.gov: "Even if by some miracle you got 60 votes, where do you think that amendment would go? Speaker Johnson has made it very clear that he's not going to entertain it. Trump would never sign it. So it is an empty gesture. It bothers me that people want to raise false hopes."
