I've been thinking about my grey fox, Snuffy. My uncle brought her to me when I was 12. She was 2 days old & had lost her mother. At 6 mo old, it was apparent she needed her freedom. We had been in the local paper. Everyone knew she was a pet. Someone shot her anyway. Still crushed.

I was just reminded of this movie. I didn't realize it wasn't a hit. William Freidkin directed. Gritty, suspenseful, tight, dramatic. The bridge scenes are incredible.
