This magical filmstrip surfed on his flying reel and got up to mischief that broke the 'Silence is Golden' rule during AMC pre-shows. Though his time as mascot has long passed, he can still be found in a few venues, if only as decoration, and was sold as FiGPiNs in 2023.

These three ads by the late Paul Berry saw cunning mouse thief Dexter, his mad inventor cohort and two henchmice use stealth and distractions to keep menacing tabby Fat Boy off guard, raid the fridge and get their clutches on Dairylea cheese.

DEXTER: "I'd better stick to Dairylea, since I don't want to end up like 'Double-Dexter' here...and the other guy is how the gang will look if I don't get fresh supplies." 6: Dexter wanders through the hall. DEXTER: "Mirrors, mirrors, on the wall. How am I supposed to get out of this hall?" 'Can Dexter get out of the maze? See next week's a-maze-ing issue to find out.'
