14 school days until the break. There’s apparently no paper until January. There are also no workbooks, no text books and not nearly enough technology. Oh, and we’re evacuating the class daily at this point. Twice yesterday!

Yesterday, a student threw a Chromebook at me, stabbed their desk with scissors and muttered threats. I was able to remove the scissors, which led to kicking desks and chairs over. Other students were moved into the hallway and I called for assistance. 1/2

While people are posting outrage over Pierre Poilievre billing the Canadian taxpayer around $8.9 million just for his living expenses in 2024, I think it's more effective to point out that this equates to over $24,000 per day.
