I didn’t understand how much misogyny still existed until I saw my third grade boys react to the song Golden and anything connected to that movie.

Later on, I filled out a violent incident report an submitted it. Before the day ended, I was chastised by admin for writing a “frivolous” report because “no one got hurt, so it wasn’t violence”.

It is annoying that you can enter your kid’s late arrival in the app and then you still get the call in the evening. I wish they would fix that.

Yes, I know kid was late because the subway shut down and I ended up paying $20 for them to uber to school. I already told you that!

I’m an introvert that teaches elementary school. I get the dichotomy - just because we’re good with people, doesn’t mean we can or want to be around them all the time!

As for public, I pop on my headphones and stay in my own little bubble. Or run away to a ravine for a little peace and quiet.

I feel that. It’s extremely people-y around here.
