MAPE MDH employees were picketing today. Our public health system is critical for the health & safety of everyone! Rabies, E. Coli outbreaks, bird flu, measles, & so many more! If we can't allow our professionals to do their job, our state will be harmed & put more pressure on our hospitals.

Tragic news for the health of Minnesotans today: 170 people let go, 140 more receiving notice that their jobs are “at risk”, and 20 signed job offers rescinded at Minn dept hlth.
I’m glad MDH is stating unequivocally the cause for these layoffs, and the deleterious effects we can expect to see.

There are too many pieces of this that don't make sense. One that is most objectionable to me is that all positions are subject to the same in-person requirements. At the very least roles should be evaluated for in-person requirements based on their circumstances and needs.

I want to be clear once more that every single vaccine on the childhood vaccine schedule in the United States has already been subjected to a randomized clinical trial. There is no evidence that giving more than one of these vaccines within the time period specified by the schedule poses any risk.
