She's the only nominee from the Best Actress category for 1987 to not receive any other Academy Award nominations.

Cher (the winner) is 1 for 2.
Glenn Close is 0 for 8.
Holly Hunter is 1 for 4.
Meryl Streep is 3 for 21.
Sally Kirkland received an Oscar nomination for the 1987 film “Anna” but spent much of her prolific career as a go-to supporting actress in movies like “The Sting” and “JFK.” She died on Tuesday at 84.

Surprised he didn't burst into flame when he said God.
Trump knows the first three words to "God Bless America" but that seems to be about it

How is this guy able to talk since his mouth is stuffed with the Tangerine Twatwaffle's disease ridden flaccid micro penis?
Dr Oz on the guy who collapsed in the Oval Office: "The president, God bless him, called the wife from the Oval Office giving her updates on how her husband was doing. When you actually know the man as a human being, not as a political actor, you have to love him."

I'm sure she will be very good in the role, but I can't see it surpassing Charlize Theron's Oscar winning performance, which is on the short list of the greatest performances of all time.
Sarah Paulson is lining up a killer role: She's nearing a deal to play serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the upcoming season of Netflix's Monster.

I'm not surprised he's talking about something that peaked in popularity over 20 years ago.

His brain probably thinks it's still the dominant behemoth it once was.
Trump: "Thank goodness for TiVo or something thereof, right? We love TiVo. It's one of the greatest inventions in history. Have a good time. Thank you."

Good morning, gang! For @nytimes.com, I had the immense honor of writing about the legacies of Drew Struzan and Renato Casaro, and how their near-simultaneous passings mark the end of an era for movie poster art.

Mike Johnson needs to change his name to Stevie Wonder because he can't see shit.
Q: Just last week a minister was shot directly in the face with a pepper round by a DHS agent that left his face bloodied. Are you concerned that this is a religious freedom issue?

MIKE JOHNSON: I can't comment on any of those instances. I haven't seen or heard any of those videos

The answer is always 100%.

I'm guessing they didn't watch The West Wing episode when C.J. is asked about budget negotiations.

She answers the PR way and then answers truthfully when asked again.
Q: What do you think the likelihood is that the ceasefire lasts?

JD VANCE: *looks at Jared Kushner* Well, Jared is the investor here. I'm not going to give you a percentage.

Bonfire of the Vanities is the worst movie I've ever seen and I would rather buy a 4K of it and watch it every day for a year than watch an AI "movie".
One thing AI is good for is reminding people how even the very worst movie they’ve ever seen is better than AI “movies”

OK. It's going to be coming out soon because of the relentless investigations of Pam Bondi and Kash Patel, so I might as well admit it before the news breaks:

I am the General Counsel of Antifa.
