According to a congressman present, ICE arrested the Mayor of Newark in his own city while he was outside of an ICE facility.

He wasn’t protesting or trespassing—he was serving as Mayor. This regime is lawless, reckless and trampling on the constitution.

Big win overnight for the coalition that won the reinstatement of tens of thousands of wrongly fired feds — & that we are proud to be part of. Judge reverses his earlier ruling and finds that unions have standing to bring their claims in fed court & are not “channeled” into administrative remedies.

ICE stripped a German green card holder naked, drove him from Boston to Vermont to Rhode Island, put him in a cold shower, deprived him of medication, sleep and food until he collapsed.

No one knows why he was detained.

As predicted, women in New Hampshire had a hard time voting yesterday because of the new proof of citizenship law:

“It doesn’t have my married name on it,” she said. Town voting officials then sent her away a second time, to get her marriage certificate.
