Men are made to feel insufficiently wealthy and are marketed lots of courses so they can be rich and "fix" themselves?

Today I went to the fresh fish counter at my local Publix and asked if they had mackerel and the lady looked at me like I'd sprouted a second head that had started asking for imaginary fish. "Back roll?" No, mackerel. I spelled it for her. "I've never heard of it." I showed her a picture. "Sorry." 😶

In staying in Palo Alto this week for work, and I keep thinking “this really is nice” and “wow this would be so much nicer without so many cars.”
But if this area, with amazing weather and all the money in the world, can’t manage it, I don’t see how anywhere else in the US will.
