There’s a program on the iplayer about a Japanese father & son who restore ancient artistic pottery & honestly it’s the best kind of slow TV that soothes the soul. Could watch hours of it.

I’ve also just finished Ruin by John Gwynne on the old audiobook. Here is my review: bleak.
Great world building, nice characters both good, bad & in between, exciting story etc but my god it’s a stream of relentless misery. I’m just really hoping we get a bit of joy in the last of the series.
