This duck has decided to make her nest in the middle of the main tourist footbridge, in defiance of all gods and reason.

The town has ceded to her. We regulate around her. She is the highest authority. Please Do Not Feed Her.

The turnout in small towns across the country has been incredible drawing crowds of thousands. We’re already seeing over one million in attendance nationwide, and events are still underway. Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Ohio all had especially surprising showings.

We are trying to purchase this property but must sell our place first. Such a horrible time to be trying to sell.

“What did you do over the weekend?”

I spent the time reading about heritage livestock and the efforts to preserve at-risk breeds.

Moving is hard when you don't tell anyone what you are doing.

They accepted our second counteroffer, which was basically the original offer—a testament to the buyers' market. Now, we have to sell our house before the 60 days we agreed upon.

126 domestic cats in the U.S. have been infected with bird flu since 2022, according to the U.S. Agriculture Department.

Around half of those cases were recorded this year, and many were exposed through food or milk.

Three pet owners whose cats got bird flu describe their symptoms and quick declines. As such cases mount, public health experts are warning about raw meat and raw milk.

This time of year is a hard time of year for farm workers as there is very little work. The worker who sent us this pic got up at 4am and drove almost an hour to prune grapesvines at CA minimum wage. She's worried about being able to pay the bills and feed her family. #WeFeedYou

Hello, you who make the morning
and spread it over the fields
and into the faces of the tulips

One of the properties we lived on in Montana was a guest ranch that was opened in the summer of 1929 during the start of the Great Depression. The owners were legends to me. I will forever hold that place in my heart.
