Absolutely.
Imagine showing a petrol engine to someone who had only known electric vehicles, and trying to convince them to switch to petrol. No-one would choose the dirty, noisy, less efficient, more expensive vehicle. This isn't 1910, hostage to gender insecurity. We can just choose the better tech.

Every time I hear a politician say that an issue is “dividing” this country they always then come down on the side of the right wing view of it. Just once I’d love to hear someone say “this issue is divisive, which is why I’m making the argument that kindness and compassion is important”

She and the cabinet know that rejoining at least the single market will help substantially bridge the gap. Time to ignore the right wing press, farage etc as there is now a large majority realise Brexit a disastrous mistake
Rachel Reeves' speech is puzzling.

Budget is 3 wks away, why the trailing?

Hints of spending cuts, Which will hurt the poorest.

Tax rises? There must be no tax rise for the bottom 50%. Will she tax the rich?

Chancellor appeases markets, sticks to fiscal rule, but what about democracy?

Why didn't you ask her about the financial benefits of rejoining the single market as stepping stone to rejoining EU.£140bn a year for latter
This morning Robert asked Rachel Reeves if she will have to raise taxes on ‘working people’ in this month’s Budget 💼

What did you make of the Chancellor’s answer? 🤔

We’ll be back next Wednesday with Robert & Pippa giving you all the key insight and analysis as we count down to #Budget2025

A legitimate concern?
My current dilemma is: will Rachel Reeves still be Chancellor by the time I do my show? I’ve got at least 3 jokes about her which I’d hate to lose…

Spot on
It's not controversial to ban football hooligans from coming to the UK.

Especially if they are coming from a country that should already be banned from sporting events because it is committing War Crimes.

Many of those War Criminals will be among the hooligans.

He's following the zionist agenda
Starmer's personal bias is over riding even his "human rights lawyer" leanings by a landside. Likewise his ability to be a Labour politician, let alone Party leader.

And the zionist money she
And half the cabinet have received
I so agree with you.
It’s like Cooper has been brilliant in opposition but, immediately in power, starts the dog whistles she convinced me she despised.

Shameful
