It’s not simply important to denounce political violence because it looks bad not to. It’s the right thing to do on the merits. Even more specifically to this moment it’s important because the forces of fascism are inherently better at political violence than the forces of civic democracy.

I feel the need to vent... The end of last night's NCAA National Championship game was just fucking awful (unless, you were rooting for Florida, of course).

On one hand the ostensible job of the Department of Government Efficiency will be to drastically cut federal jobs.
But on the other hand, what they're doing is really a make-work program for a future Democratic oversight investigation.

I don't give the slightest damn about "building my following" here. This said, it's pretty obvious that most people have been conditioned to *not* follow back (unless they feel somehow obligated to). I say this as someone who feels that way too.

I guess what I'm most curious about is whether Bluesky can be a place where people meet and appreciate strangers (again).
