ive thought abt this for years. arcane is so laughably bad at discussing blame and who is responsible for harm. Its biggest narrative flourish is an habit of escapegoating disposable underlings instead of confronting the actual people in power. leaves me with an icky oily feeling in my brain
Viktor’s body is politicized, the shared genius of Jayce and Viktor is commodified, and their desire to improve lives and make them matter is turned into a weapon. And the narrative treats it like a mistake. A hubris arc. When really, it’s a grief arc.

Been doing some sketches of my crush (friend) and he has a problem with self image, he wants me to show them to him and is very happy and flattered. I did draw him with his face scars tho. Should I be more tactful and only show him the ones where they (scars) are not very apparent? Os just risk it.
