It's been 30 years of A Goofy Movie, and 31 years since we briefly lived in Paris while my dad worked on it! Truly one of the coolest things as a kid, to hang out at the studio or watch pencil tests over dinner.♥️

THIS! Everyone can learn to draw. If you only knew how much I struggle with fine motor control and coordination and yet here I am, drawing.
Drawing, writing, all creative pursuits are SKILLS you can very much learn to do.
At this point anyone who uses genAI is either hateful or lazy or both.

The thing about AI and this mindset that it allows those who “can’t draw” to draw is that is a lie. I taught college level courses on drawing and met multiple students who grew leaps and bounds in their drawing skill sets because they wanted to and took the time to try

One bright side to being forced to live in an AI slop tornado is now I see my artistic mistakes as incredibly endearing. The human machine of my body made that weird line. My worst day of drawing is completely untouchably better than anything AI will ever produce until the heat death of the universe
