“I know their goal is to make us miserable.” — so they don’t show up to work.

Rep. Pettersen voted in-person, and gave a speech from the House floor—all while holding her baby, because Republicans refused to let her vote remotely while on maternity leave. Rep. Pettersen shouldn’t have been forced to come in, but I’m glad we have a fighter like this on our side.
