I get that the news cycle is packed right now, but I just heard from a colleague at the Smithsonian that this is fully a GIANT SQUID BEING EATEN BY A SPERM WHALE and it’s possibly the first ever confirmed video according to a friend at NOAA

four leaf clovers are the result of a genetic mutation that's relatively common- they are influenced by the use of fertilizer, amount of sun in an area, and pollutants in their soil. where are a few four leaf clovers, there will be many more

While in many ways it's hilariously delusional, this piece does helpfully confirm the reporting that Bennet's Opinion sections had special lower standards for right wing pieces because they couldn't pass the normal editorial process. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...
After senior leaders in the Opinion section realized that these articles were not getting a fair shake, the process evolved. Articles that were potentially “controversial” (read: conservative) were sent directly to the most senior editors on the page, to be scrutinized by the leadership rather than the whole department.

Rescue dogs come in all shapes and sizes! Bella was found wandering the streets after escaping a breeding house in the suburbs when she was 4. She is 5 now and very sweet. I met her mom when they were at a cafe, and Bella was people watching calmly by her mom's side.
