It is tough to talk to someone about astrology's real, extremely tangible utility, because there are actually a lot of good reasons to be skeptical of it from the jump.
astrology can be very hard to talk about with the majority of people (often including other astrologers!) because both its study and practice is deeply intertwined with epistemology, aka how we know what we know and to what extent we can know it. plus, metaphysics, history, and translation!

![Plotinus knows his suggestion that Nature is contemplation might not be easy to understand. So he starts his treatise with the suggestion that we look at that idea playfully. Here are the opening lines:
Suppose we said, playing at first before we set out to be serious, that all things aspire to contemplation and direct their gaze to this end—not only rational but irrational living things, and the power of growth in plants, and the earth which brings them forth—and that all attain to it as far as possible for them in their natural state....
