There was a very interesting lecture by a soybean expert at university yesterday.

I didn’t know how nutritional it really is. Legume with the highest protein content, including all essential amino acids. I will test eating more soy products, see how I feel about it.

Ask me anything on soybean!

I never knew that "pudding" is actually just corn starch stirred in a hot liquid!!

It costs just a fraction when homemade. I tried coconut milk and soy milk as substitutions for cow milk already, both fine. Also, it's transparent when made with water!

I will never be fooled by Big Pudding again!

My takes on Ketu and Rahu:
1) The Lunar Nodes are a Churning Rod--they churn the ocean of life for the native so as to refine and reveal the "nectar" of the chart. Squares, returns, and reversals can be pivotal times for parts of the natal promise to unfold.

My 3rd talk on the Lunar Nodes is coming up w/the Bedford Astrology Club ✨

This time I will be speaking on the lunar nodes through the signs & this talk will be on Zoom starting at 8pm in the UK

If you would like to attend the talk please contact Teresa Bellmaine at: bedfordastrologyclub@gmail.com

I always say astrology is like a weather report to me, to prepare me for the energetic vibe of the days ahead.

I was so confused before I had astrology. One day it was all fun and games and the next one all quiet and reserved. When I asked people they responded 'What do you mean, nothing changed?'
It is tough to talk to someone about astrology's real, extremely tangible utility, because there are actually a lot of good reasons to be skeptical of it from the jump.
astrology can be very hard to talk about with the majority of people (often including other astrologers!) because both its study and practice is deeply intertwined with epistemology, aka how we know what we know and to what extent we can know it. plus, metaphysics, history, and translation!

TLDR; I realised I'm struggling with self-confidence issues, amplified by my autism self-diagnosis a couple months ago, which makes me feel very uncertain in social situations, draining my energy very quickly. I don't know what to do about it. ...
It finally manifested yesterday.

We had a test at university in the morning, and events like this often stir up the social dynamic, because people talk a lot before and after the test.

I'm already known as one of the "smart" ones, so I'm sometimes approached with questions, while other...
Oh no, looks like this week's full moon will be square my natal Mars North Node conjunction. 😬

How the story continued:

Five days later I rather randomly passed by the same art gallery again, in the evening, and took a quick snapshot of one large painting through the window. I showed that to one of my flatmates, who has a talent for painting (Taurus stellium). ...
I was doing some errands in the city today, and walked into an art gallery with amazing art inside. I ended up having a nice conversation with the woman curating it, but I couldn't afford any of it, so I said "I will come back in ten years". How likely is that going to happen based on this chart?

My university sent out an e-mail for a "chainsaw basics" course today, that I was already waiting for. I signed up just now. The course takes place exactly during my next Mars return!

How does this sound to the real astrologers here?
My gemini rising mom is having eye surgery on Nov 13, the day after mercury rx conjoins mars and opposes her ASC and squares her natal moon. I’m a bit concerned but she won’t schedule things based on astrology so… I guess we’re winging it 🤷🏻‍♀️ …

I met with my best friend last week, and among many topics we also talked about the current state of AI. What it can do, what it can't do and the path to 'artificial general intelligence'.

I have been thinking about intelligence a lot lately and about its possible limitations. Throughout history...

Something a little scary:

I finally watched Oppenheimer last weekend and I was reminded how interesting Einstein's equation e=mc² really is. It expresses a simple relationship between energy and mass. They don't equal each other. Mass is multiplied by the speed of light squared, a really large...

Yesterday I also finished my third picture frame, completing my summer wood working project!

I found an art print at a thrift store with perfect size and color. "Eingeregnet" (rained in) by Franz Defregger, shows people evading the rain, crammed into a small cold alpine cottage.

It ended up being an intense day! We had a flat share meeting planned for the evening. So I spent the afternoon working through emotions, figuring out how to get my points across. Almost everyone had talking points on our shared living situation. We settled balances for expenses. Very Scorpio!
This Scorpio Moon has been pretty rough from the start, and I’m not looking foward to tomorrow.

I have been struggling with a mild tinitus in my right ear for a few weeks now. So I finally decided give it focused attention. Listening to the high pitched sound had no effect. Today I woke up with a ringing in my ear again. I started to direct all my attention into my physical ear. After around…

I looked into my dodecatemoria chart again, and the placements are truly fascinating (Capricorn rising unsurprisingly, Venus conjunct MC, Sun conjunct NN, Mars conjunct Moon square Saturn, ...).

Can someone recommend a good book on dodecatemoria charts please?
The dodecatemoria really was my missing puzzle piece when interpreting nativities

Now it’s probably one of the if not the most important natal consideration for me, other than being ESSENTIAL in timing techniques too
