The Trump Regime is currently stripping the Department of Education for parts, starting with the most vulnerable children in our country.

While IDEA is STILL the law of the land, firing all Federal workers who are tasked to uphold, implement, and oversee its effectiveness would almost completely undermine and hobble the protections that it affords!

While IDEA is STILL the law of the land, firing all Federal workers who are tasked to uphold, implement, and oversee its effectiveness would almost completely undermine and hobble the protections that it affords!
IDEA is the most fundamental federal protection for children with disabilities. It is what IEP's fall under. It is how we guarantee that ALL children are afforded an education.

Trump instigated this entirely on his own. You don’t overrun a state’s National Guard without a request from that state, that’s a violation of constitutional limits. He manufactured a crisis.

interesting note here, i had to do a double take bc this gas seems to disperse faster than what I got used to in PDX. might just be a factor of gas being used in a dense neighborhood with tall buildings that sorta kettles the spread VS gas being used in wide Blvds where the wind can disperse it
Greetings! A large immigration operation and subsequent protest in Paramount, CA has led to a large amount of gas and “less lethal” munitions. Situation ongoing. Will update as I can.
