we are the only seaside tourist town in #EastSussex without a seafront cycle route, and where #cycling is banned in the town centre.

There is little/no green politics, but there is an International Airshow and the most short car journeys in SE.

My first ride along one of the new sections of North Tyneside’s “seafront sustainable route” - decent width and separation here and good to see side road priority. Nice to have lots of extra zebras too. Enough people on foot, even on a grey day, to be grateful to no longer have share the path.

Yes, #water companies profit from poisoning our food chain.

Some pollutants come from runoff into the sewers, but we are now discovering that a great volume of contaminants, including pfas and microplastics, are introduced deliberately... for a fee.
