XR walkers including rebels from Eastbourne, Hastings, Lewes, Brighton, Haywards Heath and London walked 10 miles of coastline from Eastbourne to Cooden in contemplation.

This coast is already threatened by sea level rise and climate change

XR joined a gathering at Gatwick Airport in Sussex, to challenge the government decision to recommend Gatwick expansion. The area already suffers the highest air pollution measured in the locality, and airport expansion will make conditions worse, here, and globally.

XR Eastbourne turned out in numbers with Lewes and Hastings XR members today. We were joined by our local @unitecommunity.bsky.social in asking our local Howden to "Insure our Future" instead of broking insurance for the oil and gas industry.

Howden greenwash themselves 😥 like there is no tomorrow.
