My Black therapist, when I was in grad school, literally told me to Not Take Any of My Other Meds when I went to get evaluated for ADHD because I needed to be in the "worse" state possible to even get a Chance of Getting Diagnosed Properly and Fairly.

A lot of people on here keep fantasizing about the moment Trump "fires" Elon Musk because Musk has stepped out too far in front of him and I'm sure that feels good, but after watching the last Musk/Trump presser I think it's worth considering that we are essentially watching a coup via elder abuse.

This is also why I don’t think journalists should allow people to use “woke” without forcing them to provide a specific explanation of what is meant. Too much focus on racial justice? Too much focus on LGBTQ tolerance? Make them say it. Because to be blaming marginalized folks for what’s happening…

This is my grief.
Not spiraling. But so angry. When my mother was my age, the world literally opened up for her with progressive policies and civil rights. She could vote, have a credit card, etc. Just as she was blossoming, the WORLD moved w/ her.
