Bipoc who marry wyt are sometimes incentivized to uphold wyt supremacy because they are adjacent to wyt-ness and can rub off on wyt privilege. Instead of sharing solidarity with other bipoc folks and challenging the status quo, they’d rather stay within their comfort zone, prioritizing wyt feelings.
