This is fucking absurd. There are actual terrorists planning shootings and making pipe bombs on Telegram. Protesters wanting protection- that is much needed- is not a crime.

Oh so they ARE using the outside agitator trope in LA!

IT MAY BE THE ANARCHISTS

I was a medic at the Santa Ana protests in OC today.

I watched police fire tear gas, flash bangs, & rubber bullets into crowds of men, women, & children.

Other medics and I were clearly marked with red crosses, and the police were targeting us.

One of the most fucked up things I’ve ever seen.

Keep all these things in mind in the coming weeks as ICE ramps up their attacks on our communities. These have been trends that will likely occur again and you can resist them when you're inoculated against them.

5. The Democrats will side with the Republicans and call for more policing to crack down on the unrest, never acknowledging that the Right's assault on our neighbors is the reason for the unrest.

4. Mutual aid will be criminalized. Anyone attempting to help their neighbors by providing food, first aid, and other resources will see a police response.

3. "Looting" will become the #1 concern of the media. The most tepid response by protestors will far outweigh the kidnapping and tear gassing being done by the other side.

2. The good ol "Outside agitators" trope will rise again. A tale as old as time. We won't see this in LA, but as Midwest cities resist the kidnapping of their neighbors, this narrative will certainly be deployed. We don't need outside agitators to tell us to protect our neighbors.

1. The right and the media will frame this like protestors are inciting violence even though a) the violence was initiated by ICE trying to kidnap people and b) ICE/LEOs are the ones shooting tear gas and rubber bullets at protestors.
