The Legislature is holding a hearing on a bill that would expunge eviction records.

And donate money rather than going out and buying food to donate--food banks can get bulk deals, price cuts, &c, such that your $ will stretch far further in their hands than yours.
Local Food Banks are going to be overwhelmed (and they already were). Donate extra to them, Blessing Boxes, Food Not Bombs, etc. Some Lutheran churches operate food banks open to all as well.

Please don't donate expired food.

The UG should have a cold weather rule that determines the dates and temperatures when the shelter will be open. It should be clearly defined within municipal code. BPU does this for their cold weather rule. It's wild that BPU is the gold standard in Wyandotte County.
