The distinction actually matters because we're not talking about crimes from disordered attractions, but from people deliberately looking for someone to exploit due to their youth and lack of power.

I'm constantly unsure if society has become more lax about collecting late fees/penalties since COVID or if it's just that I've started brushing up against social strata for whom the rules don't really apply

The problem with folding while getting nothing is almost not so much the nothing in question than it is the message that the administration can hold Americans hostage by declining to use resources allocated for supporting us in a shutdown and it will work

I might be in for an unhappy surprise on this but I truly cannot believe, at a fundamental level, that any Senator primarily elected and sustained by Democratic voters would flip for *this* deal, specifically
