We are living in the upside down.
The band playing "Fortunate Son" might have been the best part of the whole parade. In case you don't know the lyrics, here they are. A perfect gift for a flawed man.

A year or so ago the bipolar community here contributed to some infographics I put together. I just made some updates to the “Mania for Normies” handout; more feedback is always welcome, these are living docs!

I’d love for folks to share it with anyone who could benefit 😃

🙌 thank you carry on

Maybe he can’t be bought because he’s *already* been bought?
“He is standing here for the American people”

- while he fights to obtain his $400m luxury plane from Qatar

- while he watches billionaires buy his meme coins in exchange for favors

- while his big donors like Elon load up on government contracts and eliminate any federal oversight

I *loved* writing essays in college. Unfortunately, a few professors stopped assigning them due to plagiarism. Worse, they assigned group projects instead, forcing you to work with some of the lazy, cheating mfs who ruined things in the first place. Looks like chat bots have made it that much worse.
I really try to resist the pull of being a middle aged man just shaking his head at the world going to hell in a handbasket, but this makes it hard!

Watching helplessly but not hopelessly from Canada. I hope they can get in touch with all these voters in time!
Please share!!! This is getting ridiculous—they just can’t accept a loss. Please help spread the word to North Carolina. The North Carolina Court of Appeals ruled in a 2-1 decision that over 60,000 votes cast in last year’s closely contested state Supreme Court race must be verified and recounted.

You have to see this.

PoliticsGirl and her husband teamed up with the brilliant Timothy Snyder (author of On Tyranny) and the legendary John Lithgow to create something truly powerful. It’s important, it’s urgent—and it needs to be shared far and wide.

Great question
Why is it okay for Musk to commit felony bribery and election fraud but it’s not okay to give people water who are waiting for many hours in long lines to vote as a direct result of GOP voter suppression laws?

I mean correlation doesn’t necessarily prove cause, but it often points in that direction….
Started/Going. Two infants died of pertussis in Louisiana, where last month the state’s surgeon general banned health department staff from encouraging vaccination.

Disruption is all they seem to understand—so that’s exactly what they’re getting. For 14 hours, @booker.senate.gov has been on the Senate floor, speaking truth within the rules. This cannot be business as usual when our democracy’s on the line. Thank you, senator.

Today’s action:

Tell your Senators to line up behind Sen. Booker to take his place & read constituent messages about how people being hurt by what is happening & refuse to confirm another person or pass anything in support of this regime until DOGE is dismantled & all court orders followed.

Wow. I’m beginning to think that they realize their policies are unsustainable and figure killing off a large part of the population would be helpful. In that regard, the first pandemic would have been only a partial success, and Kennedy might be here to finish the job.
Breaking: RFK Jr. has forced out PETER MARKS, the nation’s top vaccine regulator.

In his resignation letter, obtained by the Post, Marks said he was willing to work with RFK Jr on his vaccine concerns — but said Kennedy wishes “subservient confirmation of his misinformation and lies.”

Marks, an architect of Operation Warp Speed, warned that a recent measles outbreak shows how confidence in science and public health is being “undermined.”

When Poilievre makes a promise, he’s pulling it out of his ass just like Harper did.

I’m so willing to bet that it was someone—like one of those in the pentagon who warned about the vulnerabilities of Signal—who got the reporter added to the group. I seriously doubt that was “a mistake” but rather, an act of bravery and patriotism.
Rep. Chris Deluzio: “If any of us had done this as junior enlisted or junior officers… we’d be court-martialed. You’d likely end up in Fort Leavenworth...”

Trump’s team played fast and loose with war plans. There must be consequences—and no one is above the law.

In case you’ve forgotten how we used to treat this sort of thing…

There would be bipartisan calls for investigations

Impeachment would be a foregone conclusion

Several people would’ve resigned or been fired by end of day

Back when responsible adults were in charge, not this insane clown posse
