@hinabokharild.bsky.social Can the GLA Transport Committee hold TfL to account for this fiasco? Stranding people after a night out or working, some of whom may be vulnerable, is no way to promote London as a safe, friendly centre of entertainment. I was fortunately out in Clapham and had no issues.
For the past 2 years I’ve spent NYE at halfway (and why not!) and we’ve had no problem getting a train/tube onto somewhere from Charing Cross at 1am when halfway closes.
Tonight was sheer chaos and every tube and mainline station in a 1 mile radius was like Fort Knox letting no one in!

Over 35 million people have died because of HIV or AIDS related illnesses in the past 40 years.
While it is an important day to remember lives lost, it's also a time to show strength and solidarity in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

Trans day of remembrance. Don't just focus on those trans people who have been murdered by strangers in public. Also remember the trans people who were denied healthcare, allowed to die in prison, encouraged to kill themselves by their loved ones, buried under the wrong name by their families.
