US outlets Backheeled and Equalizer are hearing from sources that current Chelsea manager Emma Hayes is to take over the USWNT in July 2024. Chelsea have confirmed Hayes is leaving the club this summer, after 12 years in charge where her team won six league titles and one spring series league.

Wrap up of last NWSL round: In the end, only Angel City FC came from outside the top 6 to make the play-offs, demolishing 2nd-placed Portland Thorns 5–1 to go from 8th to 5th. Orlando Pride got a late win but finished just out on GD, as Gotham FC held on at home for the one point they needed.
