US outlets Backheeled and Equalizer are hearing from sources that current Chelsea manager Emma Hayes is to take over the USWNT in July 2024. Chelsea have confirmed Hayes is leaving the club this summer, after 12 years in charge where her team won six league titles and one spring series league.

From the beginning of the competition, we knew that our teammates had to return to their clubs, and this possibility generated uncertainty and unnecessary pressure on the way to a final that is unfortunately tarnished. 6. We also share our dissatisfaction with the logistics and planning of the trips between Santiago and Vina del Mar, which we Even, with reduced periods for heating. Likewise, we want to clarify to the public that we were not consulted about the lodging in Santiago; this was an exclusive decision of the Federation. 7. With regret, we have experienced a setback, compared to the previous leadership, in terms of travel conditions, training conditions and infrastructure. 9. Anyway, we do believe that everything can get better. In addition to the structural changes, we consider it essential to address the hierarchy within the technical and administrative staff. The current situation, where the general coordinator of the selection also acts as an assistant to the technical director, does not reflect a professional structure. That said, we support the technical work being carried out by our director, Luis Mena. 10. Our generation has witnessed the growth of women's football worldwide, and as exponents of this sport, we believe that it is urgent to implement changes that allow us to compete, without distractions, at the highest level.
