Because of the international break in the last week of October, there will be one week between the quarterfinals and the semifinals. OL Reign play Angel City 7 pm PT Friday, while in the bottom half of the draw North Carolina Courage host NJ/NY Gotham 7 pm ET Sunday.

And finally the German league saw Eintracht Frankfurt come away with a 0-0 draw at FC Bayern, playing in front of 19,000 in the Allianz Arena. Werder Bremen, who have never finished better than 8th in the Bundesliga, drew more fans with 21,000, and delighted the home crowd with a 3–0 win over Köln.

Leicester continue their good season start by picking up a point against Man Utd, leaving them sandwiched between Man City and Chelsea in the table. MUFC are 6th with 5 points from 3 games, but remain unbeaten in the middle of a tough Champions League qualifying week.

Arsenal came back twice in injury to win their WSL home match against Aston Villa 2–1 at the Emirates, their first win in any competition this season. Beth Mead, coming on as a sub in her first game since her ACL tear, gave the assist to Alessia Russo who shot the winning goal from 16 yards.
