To the people who lent their credibility to this panel: are you having fun yet?

It might be time to resign while you can still salvage some of it.
At tonight’s “consultation”…

When a high school kid tried to raise concerns about the teachers strike, Bruce McAllister cut the kids mic and then suggested his parents should have beaten him more.

Listen to the clip yourself…

It’s…

Telling.

Saskparty is all about maintaining power, not governing.
Folks, facts matter.

Scott Moe will do or say anything to cover for 18 years of Sask. Party failures.

You deserve better.

A government focused on a future filled with good-paying jobs and where every person has a safe and affordable place to call home.

Neither the Liberals nor Conservatives care in the slightest bit for working class people. NDP don’t have much to brag about in this regard either.

How in the world is a guy that has made a career out of talking about privatization of crown corporations gets appointed to the board of major crown like John Gormley is pure political appointment. Another Saskatchewan Party failure in looking after residents.

The program definitely needs reform. There doesn’t seem to be any checks and balances.

I’m not saying the TFW program needs to be scrapped altogether. I think it definitely needs reviewing and following up with employers to ensure it’s being used for its intended purpose and workers are not being exploited.
Canada’s economy is in shambles and the Carney government’s response is to double-down on the temporary foreign worker program, a wage-suppressing, worker-exploiting scheme the UN calls a “breeding ground for contemporary forms of slavery.”

Who would have thought that working class people would be the ones affected with the tariff trade war started by Trump.
From today's jobs report, Canada's unemployment rate rises to 7.1% (up 0.5 points this year). Alberta has seen a notable increase to 8.4% (the highest since 2017, excl. covid).

Richest province in the country with the lowest minimum wage.
As of next month, Alberta will no longer be tied with Saskatchewan for the lowest minimum wage in Canada. We will be the lowest all by ourselves.

And that does not even count the $13 wage for anyone under 18.

Minimum wage is going up across Canada soon — but one province is getting left behind
It could mean a raise of over $1,600 a year! 💸

NDP needs to make some big changes.
The NDP leadership race has officially begun! This is an exciting time for New Democrats and for people across the country who share progressive values. Canada needs a strong, federal voice for working people now more than ever.

Teachers are being told to make do with overcrowded classrooms and zero support while the UCP refuses to fund new schools or plan for growth.

It's not neglect. It’s a conscious choice.
And it’s failing Alberta’s kids.

Let's talk about it. ⬇️

A prime example of the UCP government looking after some of the most fortunate in society.
New!

Part 2 of 3!

Despite hiring 2 nephews of embattled MHCare CEO Sam Mraiche as "policy advisors", the govt of Alberta is unable to locate any policy advice or briefing notes that either have been involved in developing.

This is a great quick description of the relationship between labour and surplus value. “Job creators” are put in a pedestal by all political parties (even current NDP) but they never explain that wages are an expense on a balance sheet, not an asset.
On S4,E7 of the 🛠️Alberta Worker🛠️ labour journalist @kimsiever.bsky.social explains why suggesting that business owners provide their workers with a job and a salary is a misleading framing of our economic system.

NDP need to ditch trying to be a kinder version of the governing SaskParty and get back to their roots of supporting working class people. There are already enough center right and right leaning parties to go around.
Premier Scott Moe needs to detail what exactly his government has done to engage with China.

The canola tariffs are one of the biggest issues facing our province right now, and we need our government and our trade offices firing on all cylinders.
