I couldn't agree more. 2 had the least rpg feel of them all and I even prefer playing Andromeda to 2 because of that. But I love all of ME so that's not saying it's not still peak gaming imo
Wildly unpopular opinion, but ME2 is my least favorite of the trilogy.
The pacing is weird, and there are at least two missions I always skip or skip text in because they're that horrifically offensive. Not even edgy, just ignorant.
I do enjoy much of the rest of it, but I prefer 1 & 3 hugely.

I think I'm the only person that's not excited about DK Bonanza. The DK games to me were always about the multi-player. Being able to play with a friend is always what made them so fun imo. Now it's just another series that serves as a reminder that couch coop is dying more and more.
