Sometimes all the work you put in pays off, walking Harper this morning, an elderly lady in a moterised chair calls us over. Turns out she had a dane who died just after her husband. Harper sat there, let her take photos and then layed beside the little vehicle for fifteen minutes while we chatted 💜

Premier Jacinta Allan says the new laws would also include up to 25 years’ prison for shopfront ram raiders
Customers who assault or threaten retail and hospitality workers in Victoria will face prison sentences of up to five years, under proposed tougher penalties to be introduced by the Allan government on Friday.

I'm currently seething not because *I* can't afford the knee MRI, which is only covered by Medicare for 16-49 year olds, but because there's plenty of other 50+ year olds who must be facing a sudden financial shock.
