This is glorious.
Big new blogpost!

My guide to data visualization, which includes a very long table of contents, tons of charts, and more.

--> Why data visualization matters and how to make charts more effective, clear, transparent, and sometimes, beautiful.

Will Arnett was on Conan and told a story about how Conan dealt with the death of his parents by accusing Jason Bateman of killing them. It’s so funny.

I've written about the Farage antisemitism allegations - and my dismay at the behaviour of some who, now that the accused is more to their political liking, seem keen to sweep this all under the carpet.

I have sympathy for staffers obvs - the rude constituents, eccentric bosses, shit pay etc. But sorry, the way these staffers talk about their jobs is embarrassing.

You work for legislators in incredibly privileged jobs! Do you realise how powerful you are?!

Pity the Labour staffers

So the BBC is collapsing because of a confected scandal most people (including me) haven’t noticed at all. Great. Great sign for our polity.

Amusing little muddle from Lisa Nandy - “we’ve lost the ability to agree disagreeably”.

Think Labour are actually remarkably good at that.

I love this chart, just the needless drive-by on It Ends With Us. It's very "chart showing the comet destroying Springfield, specifically Moe's bar"

Interesting that two very similar, (until Friday) Cabinet ranking politicians who've closely supported the Starmer project throughout are running away with nominations.

Somewhat vindicates my suspicion that most Labour MPs don't really have a problem with this government, they just like to moan.
