The fourth E is the Elephant in the Room - ie. the person who is most often seen as unable to emotionally connect is the Prime Minister himself.
At political cabinet today, Morgan McSweeney gave a presentation on “three Es” on how the government can connect with voters - emotion, empathy and evidence.

Am told he said the government currently has a “deficit in emotion”

This cabinet leaks more than the Titanic.
More from Starmer’s political cabinet today, where he told ministers to ignore Labour’s dire poll ratings

“I do not underestimate the scale of the task. But I have no doubt about this team. Governments do not lose because polls go down. They lose when they lose belief or nerve. We will do neither.”

People don't realise RFK Jr's brain worm now lives in Tucker's head, where it operates an ideas spin-wheel.

Up next: 'The *spins wheel* DGSE is sponsoring protests in *spins wheel* Bhutan so that *spins wheel* Zionist Furries can take control of *spins wheel* chocolate supplies.'

Anyone? Just need one more person to support via e-mail to hopefully get this live (albeit with "Creep" instead).
Lord am I tempted. Especially if, it reaches 100k signatures, they’ll hopefully have to debate it in the commons…

(If you want to support, DM me your e-Mail address.

Gosh, that must have been a fun Christmas in Number 10
this must be the most banal political soundbite of recent years, via Sir Keir Starmer:

“Every minute that we’re not talking about the cost of living is a wasted minute.”

Random question - what's the best use of bagpipes in a pop song? I'm thinking of John Farnham's "You're the Voice", but are there other examples?

We now go to Kings College London, where the response to *that* article has been assessed

I don’t know how to tell some of you this, but China isn’t going “oh, the US now no longer has any moral authority to stop us invading Taiwan.” What has held China back is the fear the US will bring its military might to bear & cause all-out war, not comparative International Law morality arguments.

Various well-meaning people: “Trump has toppled the Venezuelan dictator. This is good because it means that the legitimately elected leaders of Venezuela can now take charge!”

It’s truly heartwarming to see how people can come together around events of great geopolitical magnitude - by focusing on how people they acutely dislike have made past statements on the subject which now make them look very, very stupid.

This will happen again - I’ll tell you why. It’s a long-standing fact that second-term Presidents facing increasingly difficult domestic climates pivot further to international issues. But whereas for others this may have meant *increased diplomatic efforts*, for Trump it means *do whatever I want*.
