I'm posting this on BlueSky to (hopefully) disprove a theory I have about this platform.

Do people on here understand this is not 'pro-Palestine' activism, despite this individual describing her output as such? That this is in fact the Great Replacement theory so beloved of White Nationalists?

Since Musk likes Tolkien so much, I wonder if he's read about the character who turns up calling himself "Lord of Gifts", claiming to be bringing wonders and enchantment to the peoples of Middle Earth, but is just a horrendously evil character in disguise?

Since we're talking Tolkien, that is.

"Now, Sergeant Hennimore, this is absolutely critical. Door One, which is yellow and blue, is the 'release from custody' door. Door Two, which is blue and yellow, is the 'send to immigration centre' door. We need to send the migrant sex attacker through the blue and yellow door."

I'm so glad Tolkien didn't live to see this crap

This is one of the prayers that Jews traditionally recite on Yom Kippur.

Cannot read it without crying right now. Hold your loved ones close.

I’m sorry, I just can’t get over this. It’s like watching a shark get chewed up by a bigger shark.

A lot of people are reacting to the mad statement in headline, and sleeping on the even madder statement that "if we lose, we lose, but you lose by war anyway". You are running to be president of a country that won its independence *in a war*.

I think the one of the main issues about Andy Burnham to people outside the North is that he appears to have made the fact that he's a Northerner his *entire* personality.

And I'm sure that works great in the North. Down here? Not so much.

The thing to understand about Your Party is that Jeremy knows it's His Party, Zarah thinks it should be Her Party, and Labour is watching the fallout and throwing its own Party.

It is exactly 2 months since Danny Kruger MP said that if Reform UK got into power they would "spend money like drunken sailors".

And now he seems to have joined the crew.

Anyway, what we now really need is Barry Dunning, who is a Conservative County Councillor in Hampshire, to also announce his defection to Reform UK today.

TBH for me the most interesting thing about Danny Kruger is that his Mum presents Bake Off
According to Reform UK's unwritten "one in, one out" MP rule, the defection of Danny Kruger should mean they'll soon be saying goodbye to either Tice, Anderson or Pochin.

Hasn't been this much mention of "Kruger" among British journalists since the Jameson raid.
