To be fair, it’s hard to type with a paper bag over your head.
BTW, you really see how thin the use of Bluesky is when you do a search for a phrase, like NE Patriots, that's associated with a real-time event. There's no chatter.

But I was assured by The Very Smart People of Bluesky that the challenge of the Onion's bid was just a ploy by Alex Jones and was utterly meritless.

The Onion’s Bid for Infowars Rejected in Bankruptcy Court
A judge ruled that the trustee charged with auctioning off the assets of Infowars’ parent company didn’t maximize value for creditors.

So, in the last 24 hours, in an attempt to defend Joe Biden's pardon of Hunter, his defenders in the media have pointed to the following:

Woodrow Wilson's pardon of Hunter DeButts
Jimmy Carter's pardoning Billy Carter
HW Bush's of son Neil Bush.

Except none of these happened. They're all imaginary

@cjciaramella.bsky.social has a love letter to D&D's community in celebration of the game's 50th anniversary. While I'm not a fan of how they've tweaked the rules since the 3rd edition (Bring back THACO!), the basic idea underpinning it makes for glorious fun.

I think a special shout has to also go the people who thought the worst possible thing was to have Harriet Miers on the SCOTUS Bench. After all, it was only after she withdrew her name from consideration that W picked Alito.
Please don’t forget to thank the Federalist Society for giving us Justice Alito, the embodiment of their goals and values.

I hope you come to love something enough to bear a life-long grudge against those who messed it up
I looked it up and this is apparently true: Warren Beatty produces a couple of schlocky, low-budget short form films every handful of years so he can keep the rights to Dick Tracy as a Fuck You to the studios who fucked his beloved project from the get-go

I'm surprised Trump didn't have a rally in Eagle Pass, complaining about the eclipse coming in from Mexico and ending with him looking directly at the eclipse and shouting at it to go away and when it does, take credit for bringing back the sun.

Hear me out: there needs to be an anti-CSI tv show. One that starts off with the work of a Gil Grissom-esque character being exposed as fabricated and a team brought in to re-investigate the cases and along the way we discover if he was lazy or corrupt.
