i tweeted this when David Lynch passed and i just keep thinking about how there have been so many Lauras and how rare his kindness for her was.
Laura Palmer will always be the most important piece of David Lynch's legacy to me, because i will always see in her face the faces of women i know and have known who carry her pain with them, and in his kindness to Laura i see the kindness that so many have never received.

I feel like these Catholic converts who think they can argue with the Pope just did not do their research. If they want a religion where they can argue nonstop with everyone, up to and including God, they would obviously be better served by converting to Judaism.
